History: Here's the link to Kyoko's wiki but dear god, that's almost all 220 chapters of canon that's connected to her. So I'm gonna try to nutshell this as best as possible because even that will be pretty long. That way, if you think there are gaps in the wiki, you can also look here. However, because it is obscenely long (36 volumes,), the full history will be under this so that it could be easily expanded and collapsed without having to scroll through it to reach the rest of the application.

Super long history inside. Beware. )

Appearance: Kyoko is 5'4" with dyed chestnut-colored hair and an appearance that works out very well as a blank slate. As she is slim and her default posture is incredibly straight and formal, most applications of styling leave her looking like a completely different person; especially when a role is involved. By default, her appearance comes across as very young, but she has displayed the look of a punk type, queen bee, angel, and even a scarred and hateful girl. However, even a light application of makeup and a wig can take her from, what she considers, indistinguishable looks to what others call a mature beauty. For a visual example, this is how she normally looks, where as this is her Natsu costume, this is from when she was challenged to act as someone's son, and one of her more dramatic costumes as Setsuka Heel. This image is from the light application and wig mentioned before.

Personality: From the very beginning, with a mother that disapproved of her very existence, Kyoko was someone that gave everything so as she didn't disappoint people or prove herself a burden. In turn, she quickly became the perfectionist type. Whether it's doing her hardest to get perfect 100's in all of her classes, or learning and perfecting all of the skills and duties the Fuwa's taught her when growing up. She works hard for that approval, hoping to please those around her, even if it meant ignoring doing things for herself and her own benefit. While it compliments her kindness, it can also lead her to going overboard, though it doesn't happen as much since she stopped focusing on getting points to bring herself further. Also, with the thoughts of simply wanting to make others proud, she's rather straightforward and traditional. Her thoughts are often on what's considered proper, is often polite and has a demeanor best suited for customer service by default. Perhaps it also comes from being raised in a traditional hotel in Kyoto, her method of thinking is formal or conservative, and living in such a quiet place allowed her to grow up with a constant love and penchant for fairies, princesses, magic and other similar types of stories. She thinks things along the lines of what is and isn't pure and is quick to believe and be carried away with those fairy tales, even today. So from the beginning, she was always that simply kind of naive girl; a daydreamer who didn't have much past gaining approval from her mother and the Fuwa's while growing up. Without many friends, as she was the target of jealousy for always being by Sho's side, Kyoko lacked the experience of having friends, and being hopelessly devoted to Sho, who wasn't interested in her that way, lacked the ability to recognize what should be romantic and when someone had that kind of interest. So, for all her intelligence and determination, there wasn't much about Kyoko.

She's grown a lot from the time Sho had broken her heart, however. At that time she had swore against love, that it was impossible for her, and revenge filled her head to the point she'd often lose sense of control. Especially when Sho even glanced past her thoughts and her anger would get the better of her. It's focused to a more positive direction, if not a little strange. She can now hold her feelings to a scathing tolerance of being around Sho and doesn't let him interrupt her life, no matter how the topic of him comes up. Determined to become a big enough star to surpass Sho in showbiz hasn't just put her on a rough path, but she also refuses to let Sho falter on his career as a hit music artist. It's a bit because Kyoko had finally accepted that it's everything that's happened in the past that has shaped her into the person she is today. While still angry and resentful about it, ready to put Sho at fault for taking her to Tokyo, it's still a necessary experience.

Even more, Kyoko's grown to like herself a little bit. While circumstances have her wanting to gain someone's approval, getting into LME and realizing she had a talent for acting made her realize something. She wanted to keep acting and taking roles to learn and liked the kind of person it was turning her into. The opinion Kyoko had for herself is still incredibly low, mind you. She rarely takes credit for success or compliments. If things go well, it's because of everyone involved and what she did was never much. Kyoko also doesn't find herself as a person that could ever stand out. Which is why she considers the pink overalls from the Love Me section as a secret weapon, thinking she needs that to stand out. Whenever she takes on an appearance that stuns others, it's always the magic of makeup or a Princess Rosa (a pink stone that she believed had magic power.) She has trouble believing she could be attractive around others without something being the entire reason for it. It's only been recent that Kyoko entertained the idea of being able to use that kind of magic and have it come from herself, meaning that she could accept that some of it is a part of her.

And as hard as she tried to fight the possibility, Kyoko recognized that she had fallen in love with Tsuruga. It's out of fear that she'll turn into a simple idiot with only love on the mind, like she was with Sho, that she keeps those feelings locked up the best she could. No longer has she denied it, and Lory suggested she actually explore and take everything to heart about this kind of experience. Love, and the desire to be selfish with Ren, who said he wasn't allowed to fall in love, was truly ugly and made her ugly. Just because she found being even a little selfish in hopes of happiness was horrible. So she'll act as someone who wasn't in love for while she could, but has at least acknowledged it. It'll never go further than that though, out of fear of losing her current relationship with Ren. With a mother that has resented her existence and having grown up without any clue of a father, she takes all her relationships to the utmost pinnacle of importance. Maybe it's tied to seeking people's approval, but it wasn't until Kyoko joined LME that she found herself surrounded by friends, and colleagues she highly respected, who cared about her, allowed her to express and have her own interests. It's because of them that she actually realized many things about herself, including how lonely she was when having to have her birthday as an addition to Christmas parties all of the time as everyone from LME and the Daruyama made a point of celebrating her birthday as it's own celebration. That and having Kuu, someone she had met recently and acted as his son, saying that he was proud to continue seeing Kyoko as his child when he had to leave. It put into perspective the things she missed, but had her cherish receiving them from these people now. However, because she's so wrapped up with the experiences and people, her interest never goes towards the final result of how the projects turn out. She's rarely ever seen an episode of the shows she's been on, and never thinks about how the ratings turn out. Really, she feels that because everyone worked so hard she doesn't have to worry when there isn't the pressure of superseding an original incarnation of the drama. So while she was concerned about Dark Moon getting high ratings, it was more because of how it would affect the director and wanting him to prove himself to the industry. With Box 'R' however, she's less concerned and feels that their portrayal will have people feel for the heroine and love the show as it progresses.

Now, with her method of acting, the characters portrayed could also count as parts of her personality and being. She can bring it out when she wants, though they could also bleed through with the right triggers, but adding all those personalities would make this as obscenely long as the history. So I'm gonna save some trouble and blurb some of them, just because she has and can tune into them. Mio, her strongest role, was a dark and mean rich girl type, who used her injury and scars for convenience and hated to lose. Natsu at instant was like a charismatic, fashionable high school girl, but was really the sadistic, queen bee, type of bully that used other girls in her group to do all the dirty work. Setsu was also a bad girl, but in a different sense. She had more of a provocative punk/goth style and had a brother complex that was inappropriately affectionate and territorial. Those are the ones that she's tuned to the most, or used when deciding on how she wanted to react to something.

Abilities: The only unnatural thing is originally very subtle, and easily believed to be a design manifestation of Kyoko's determination that's fueled by the grudges that spawned from Sho saying she was no more than an unattractive maid. They're referred as both Kyoko's demons and apparitions. Because when that happened, what was called Pandora's Box had been opened and the demons flew out. A good metaphor for a broken heart turning to pure anger, right? It's not really until Reino, an actual medium that could see spirits, was able to see and grab onto these 'demons.' Whenever they came out during the times when she was held by feelings of anger, resentment and hatred, there was always an enhanced effect. Either with slowing people down that she latched onto (resented not having friends before,) or terrifying people with her determination (which is how she got into LME's signing audition.)

Otherwise, Kyoko's actual a 'plain' human with no powers and everything extraordinary is through skill and talent. That would include her stamina, from managing and running to 3 different jobs; professional cooking skill that started from growing up at the ryokan, furthered by learning from the Darumaya's owner, and was tied in with many other duties that she had been taught with the Fuwa's training her to be Sho's wife. She's also studied heavily in the black arts, most particularly voodoo. This, with her perfectionism, gave her the skill to measure people with a glance and provice exact scaled replicas of people. She's also been considered something of a butterfly or fairy because she has a unique talent for acting. She could completely change herself, both in appearance and very soul, to a role that she's given and dedicated herself to. Basically, she can breathe life and become that character.

Other: I'm not sorry for all of the eyes her pink overalls will assault.

SAMPLES;
First Person:
[For all of one second, the girl on the screen has this cool appearance. Short hair with one of those trendy hairstyles that has the hair parted to the side, lip gloss and head held high. Then all of the apparent maturity in her eyes turns to wonder. ]

Ah- So it works like that. The interface is different from what I had expected. So it doesn't need a specific contact to post...?

[ However there will be no Redo. She's not sure if there's a time limit like voice mails, so that'll have to be figured out later. Kyoko puts on a polite, friendly smile while getting to what she had intended this video to be about. ]

Sorry. My name's Kyoko Mogami. I seem to have been given this phone, but none of the contacts from my old one were transferred. Instead there's a lot of others that I don't recognize. Are they other talents from LME and other agencies, or perhaps other people that just showed up with this phone?

I suppose there could've been a mixup and this is someone else's phone, which would explain all of the contacts. Though it didn't seem to be like that. If that's the case, could you let me know? Thank you!

[ Kyoko bows her head partially before ending the video. ]

Third Person:
If there's one thing no one should have to suffer, even in Holly Heights, is an assault on the senses; sight in this particular case. With overalls that were the most offensive color of pink, it was hard to recognize anything else about the figure. Not their incredible posture, or the look of complete inner monologuing and speculation. No one could be blamed for staring when clothes are just that loud.

Fist in palm with a sudden eureka moment, the teenager that was in that atrocity came to... quite a conclusion. Which is what happens when someone, with fantasies on the brain that is, starts to wonder why they ended up in a strange town.

"This must be what it means to get 'spirited away'!," she exclaimed, more to herself than anyone around.

Even if the outfit was too loud to catch her words and actions before, Kyoko was no longer contemplating and now more cognizant of her surroundings. And of the other people around. Which is why that horrendous pink is heading right for the first person that was seen. Luckily it wasn't some kind of direct attack as she stopped a few feet before with both arms down at the side, giving a contrasting formal approach. Moving her hands down at her front to hold them together, her tone has both a friendly politeness and a little apprehension when saying, "sorry if this sounds strange. You wouldn't happen to have been taken from your home? By, ah, anything in particular?"

Well, she couldn't just flat-out ask someone if fairies took them, now could she?
